Back home for Christmas

After a manic end to the term, returning home for Christmas was a welcome break. It also provided an opportunity for me to get the camera out again after having been gathering dust for a while. The following is quite a mix, but some of the shots were taken with my new macro lens. The 1:1 magnification on it is pretty remarkable and am looking forward to taking plenty more macro shots in the future.
