Llangranog’s secret beach
West Wales has its fair share of beaches (Aberystwyth boasts 3), though many get overrun whenever the sun decides to show. With Megan’s mum visiting, we decided to head down the coast road and explore some more locations. Megan had read about a ‘hidden’ cove near Llangranog, so we made our way down the country lanes to find a pretty secluded village next to a small bay. A brief walk along the coastal path and we found the ‘secret beach’, although not entirely empty. In fact when the tide went out, more people walked round the headland to join us. It was pretty stunning though and more importantly there was a quality ice-cream shop nearby in the village. Was too cold for swimming still.
