Devon in bloom

Returning back to my home village in north Devon invariably feels like you’re entering some kind of time-trap; nothing ever seems to vary and life plods along seemingly oblivious to the world around. However things do change – the last time I was down was at Christmas, and its amazing to see the contrast around the fields and gardens, particularly how green and colourful everywhere becomes.

Being a bank holiday weekend, the weather was predictably far from great, but I did manage to get some decent photos on the one reasonable day we had when we visited some friends around Swimbridge.
